Registered Nurse – Step Down

Location: Hazard, Kentucky Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Unit: 3 South Stepdown Ratios: 1:4 to 1:5. Ratios can fluctuate with census and call-ins.

Schedule

• Shifts: Day (3x12 hours) or Day (4x12 hours), 7:00 to 19:30
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Pay period schedule: 36/48 hours for the two-week pay period, unless the job order states otherwise
• Orientation: Bi-weekly
• Float: Float required within scope of practice
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling: Cannot be accommodated

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Stepdown experience (2 years)
• Stepdown experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid driver's license, included in all submission packets

Additional Notes

• Candidates must have a valid, state-issued photo ID.
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered.
• Assignment confirmation must be submitted within 24 hours of accepting an offer.
• No RTO edits are accepted after an offer is made, and no timecard edits are accepted after the pay period closes.
• Start date is fixed as listed on the job.
• Candidates may only be submitted to one job at a time.
