Registered Nurse, Operating Room

Location: Newburgh, Indiana Employment Type: Travel Start: ASAP Contract Length: 12 weeks

Schedule and Commitment

• Shift: Days, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (10 hours). Start times stagger, with some shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Float Requirement: None
• On Call/Call Back: One shift per week
• Weekends/Holidays: 3 weekends during the 12-week assignment, plus holidays as needed
• Local Candidates: Not eligible (40-mile radius rule)

Required Qualifications

• Indiana RN license or compact license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Licenses and certifications must be attached upon submittal
• 2 years of surgery experience
• Charting experience with EMR software (software familiarity, not a credential)

Role Details

• Patient Population: GYN surgery, including GYN oncology and urogynecology, robotics, plastics, and some general surgery
• Key Skill: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Uniform: Scrubs provided by the facility
