OR Tech (Surgical Tech)

Location: Frisco, Colorado Contract Length: 21 weeks Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license in Colorado, issued through DORA CO
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA
• 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, including experience within the last year
• OR scrub experience required; ability to scrub
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's license required

Schedule and Call

• Shifts: 7a-7:30p or 9a-9:30p (variable 12-hour days)
• Weeknight call: 5-6 in a 6-week period
• Weekend call: 36 hours in a 6-week period
• Holiday call: 1 holiday
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Not required to float

Unit Details

• OR Tech unit with 3 suites
• Average of 8-10 cases per day
• Common cases: Ortho, General, Gyn, Trauma, Total Joints, ENT, Podiatry, Urology, Robotics
• Scrubs provided on site

Onboarding and Logistics

• Clinicians must be in state for the orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote
• OR orientation during the first week of onboarding
• Must be within a 60-mile radius of the facility
• Driver's license must be submitted with the application
