Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator

Location: Sitka, Alaska Employment Type: Contract, 13 weeks Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week. 4–10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday. On-call required.

Role Overview

Works in the Operating Room handling elective and emergency cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN.
Multi-tasks efficiently to keep surgical cases moving on time throughout the day.
Uses after-hours call services to staff the Operating Rooms for nights, holidays, and weekends.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR circulator experience: 3 years
OR circulator experience within the last year
BLS certification
Experience in a Critical Access Hospital and/or rural operating rooms (strongly preferred)
