Overview
- Travel assignment in Nashville, Tennessee
- Unit: 2nd Medical
- Building: A
- 28 beds
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- IV insertion skills
Preferred
- NIH
- CPI
Unit Details
- Patient ratios: Days 5-6:1; Nights 6:1
- Staffing includes a unit secretary and 2-3 PCTs on days
- Equipment includes Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling: every other weekend (Sat, Sun), weekdays flexible
- Floating: PRN, most often float between MS units
- Patient experience expectations: BSSR and Hourly Rounding
- Procedures performed on the unit: IV and foley catheter placement
- Dress code: black or royal blue scrubs
