Overview

Location: Austin, Texas
Employment type: Long-term assignment (LTA)
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

Unit Details

Unit: Dell Children's PICU is a high-acuity, fast-paced ICU with 24 beds in a central location at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Case mix: Neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU patients.
Additional unit: 12-bed PICU.
Float scope (not required experience): May float to all areas when needed, including CVICU and NICU.
Dress code: Navy scrubs; pediatric print tops allowed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Positive PPD or IGRA with negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire (if applicable)
