RN Step Down, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin Assignment type: Long-term assignment (LTA) Contract length: 13 to 26 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Schedule: EOW; EOH

Role Overview

Traveler is placed on a unit based on greatest need and the traveler's skills, either a PCU or a Med/Surg/Tele unit.
Accepts a Med/Surg or Step Down RN. Both skills use the same credentialing, and the RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills must be completed.
Float scope: onsite within the skill set, or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Stepdown experience: 2 years, with experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Med Surg / Telemetry experience
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)
NIHSS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Valid driver's license
