Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Dialysis

Location: Hackensack, New Jersey Employment Type: Clinical Unit: Acute Renal Unit Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM or 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
Plan, implement, document, and coordinate individualized nursing care based on assessments, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
Advocate for evidence-based practice and support adoption of innovations in care delivery.
Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience, completed within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Knowledge of the Fresenius T Machine
Knowledge of portable RO's
