Acute Care RN - Night Shift

Location: Quincy, California Employment Type: Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts Hours per Week: 36

Position Summary

Delivers patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Collaborates with other disciplines to achieve effective, efficient care and desired patient outcomes. Applies knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity to care, and contributes to quality improvement efforts that demonstrate positive patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, current California RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Key Abilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide care, including administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating plans of care, collaborating with other providers, and educating patients and/or significant others
