Required Qualifications

• Valid CNA license in the State of Missouri
• CNA with 1 year of experience
• CNA experience within the last year
• BLS (CPR) certification

Shift and Staffing

• Shift: 6:30 PM to 7 AM (current need)
• Weekend hours and call requirements: not specified
• Patient ratios: approximately 1:6 or 1:7 on day shift and 1:8 on night shift; each nurse has a dedicated tech
• Patient population: adults age 18 and older

Unit and Float Scope

• Based on Floors 1, 2, and G (Garden/Lower Level) with 81 private rooms
• Floats within units in the hospital: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury

Facility Overview

• Inpatient rehabilitation for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, and complex orthopedic injuries
• Features include a brain injury unit with monitored rooms, a dedicated stroke care unit, gymnasiums with therapy devices, a practice apartment for daily living tasks, family-friendly rooms, pet therapy, and an outdoor healing garden

• Uses an EHR (Epic)
• Influenza vaccination is required; those with an approved medical or religious exemption must wear a mask (or N95 respirator if required) from November 1 through March 31
• Contractors who do not comply with the influenza vaccination policy will not be permitted to work on the premises
• A facility cover sheet is required

First Day Instructions

• Report at 6:30
• Wear black scrubs and the ID badge provided by the agency
• Ask for the Charge Nurse upon arrival
• Parking is in the garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level)
