Overview

• Travel RN position in Belton, Missouri
• 48 hours per week guaranteed
• Start date: 12/14
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 3 weekend shifts per month
• No call required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ALS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

• Medical-surgical telemetry unit
• 27 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Meditech EMR

• General surgery
• Echo
• EKG
• Colonoscopy
• TEE
• EEG
• Wound vac
• Welch-Allen vital sign machines
• Glucometers
• Polar Ice
• CBI

Additional Notes

• Open to block scheduling for travelers
• Orientation to unit, policy, and procedure is provided
• Opportunities for resourcing, precepting, and working with students
• Case management and PT/OT/ST are on the same floor
• Daily MDRs are held to coordinate patient care
