Occupational Therapist (OT) - Per Diem
Location: Sacramento, California
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)
Job Summary
- Per Diem position with no minimum hours or guarantees.
- Once credentialed, scheduling is flexible and coordinated directly with the facility.
- Work in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on intensive, patient-centered rehabilitation.
- Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
- Treatment involves approximately 4-5 patients per day with 6 hours of treatment time daily.
Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Work Environment
- Department: Therapy Services
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Cerner
- Patient ratio: 4-5 patients per day
- No scrub color requirement
- Free parking available adjacent to the building

- No prior travel experience required
- Focus on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs
- Typical patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), orthopedic trauma
