Occupational Therapist (OT) - Per Diem

Location: Sacramento, California
Contract Length: 52 weeks (1 year)

Job Summary

• Per Diem position with no minimum hours or guarantees.
• Once credentialed, scheduling is flexible and coordinated directly with the facility.
• Work in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on intensive, patient-centered rehabilitation.
• Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Treatment involves approximately 4-5 patients per day with 6 hours of treatment time daily.

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
• Experience in an Acute Care setting

Work Environment

• Department: Therapy Services
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Cerner
• Patient ratio: 4-5 patients per day
• No scrub color requirement
• Free parking available adjacent to the building

• No prior travel experience required
• Focus on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs
• Typical patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), orthopedic trauma
