Required Qualifications

Training and Compliance

• Annual regulatory modules: Required annually for all candidates, approximately 3.5 hours to complete.
• California core modules: Required annually where the profession or specialty has a dedicated path.
• Float policy: Float Policy Acknowledgement required. Traveler may be required to float to another facility within a reasonable distance.

• Work history verification: Only required when submitting an exception request in place of reference requirements. Requires a minimum of 5 years of verified work history.
• Radiation badge: Issued by the facility to applicable units.
