Med/Surg Tele RN

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Akron, Ohio.
• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience).
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI.
• NIHSS.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID.
• Background check prior to start.
• Education verification.
• Primary source verification of RN license within 30 days of start.
• Nursys verification within 30 days of start.
• Core Part I, Core Part II, and Core Part III.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask within 12 months of start.
• Tdap vaccination/documentation.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray.
• Rubeola (Measles) documentation.
• Mumps documentation.
• Rubella documentation.
• Hepatitis B documentation.
• Varicella documentation.
• Drug screen within 12 months of start.
• Flu vaccination/documentation.
• Eye exam within 1 year of start.
• 2 references from employment within 1 year of start.
• Employment application with 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment.
• Skills checklist annually.
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 12 months of start, with attestation completed after results are received.
