OB/GYN Medical Assistant (MA)

Location: Seattle, Washington Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Open To: Local and non-local candidates

Schedule

4 x 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Alternating day off each week, to be discussed with the manager
No weekends
Not on call

Facility

OBGYN specialty clinic (outpatient)
Attire: scrubs or business casual

Required Qualifications

Valid CMA license in Washington
Clinic experience of at least 0.5 years, completed within the last year
Experience working with adult patients
Experience in an outpatient setting
Experience with Epic

Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P)
Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT)

Background check within 90 days of start, covering the past 7 years, updated annually
Washington State Patrol search within 90 days of start
HHS/OIG and EPLS/GSA/SAM checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
Education verification (3rd-party)
9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant results accepted)
Negative TB test (IGRA/TSPOT, QuantiFERON Gold, or 2 PPDs) within 12 months of start, or TB chest X-ray if previously positive
Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, DO, or APRN
Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
Measles, mumps, rubella immunity (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
Varicella immunity (2 vaccines or positive titer)
Hepatitis B immunity or signed declination
Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
COVID vaccination record (preferred) or declination
Respirator fit test (any mask type accepted)
RespSafety medical clearance, updated annually
Application covering at least the last 5 years of employment
Annual regulatory training modules (about 3.5 hours)
