Certified Respiratory Therapist (NICU / 48 hr Nights)

• Location: Providence, Rhode Island
• Contract length: 13 weeks, extendable
• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 4x12s, weekend rotation required

Required Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience (1 year), with experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current NRP certification
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with Epic

Submission Requirements

• RT license
• RRT certificate
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• 2 clinical references, minimum 1 supervisory

Submissions missing NICU experience or active certifications will not be reviewed.

Onboarding Requirements

• Licensing and background: Primary source verification of license and/or certification, completed within 30 days of start. Federal, county, national, and statewide background check, including OIG, NSO, and GSA/SAM searches and all aliases, dated within 6 months of start. Employment verification for the last 5 years.
• Health and immunizations:

  • COVID-19 vaccine or declination form
  • Influenza vaccine or refusal form
  • MMR: proof of 2 immunizations or positive titer for all three
  • Hepatitis B: completed vaccine series or declination (titers not accepted)
  • Varicella: proof of 2 immunizations or positive titer
  • Tdap: proof of immunization within 10 years
  • 2-step PPD or one IGRA (QuantiFERON or T-SPOT) within the last year
  • If there is a positive PPD history: chest X-ray after the positive test, plus a completed TB symptom survey
  • Annual COVID and flu policy form
• Fit test: N95 mask fit test (3M 9205+, 3M 1870+, 3M 8210, or 3M 8210+) within a year of start and before start. On-site testing is allowed only if your current mask is one the facility does not carry.
• Paperwork: Copy of valid driver's license or state ID; non-employee confidentiality agreement signed before start; orientation packet with all testing and forms signed and uploaded before start; occupational health clearance form upon offer acceptance; confirmation of assignment; work attestation form; badge photo (neutral background, forward-facing, JPEG accepted).
