13-week contract
12-hour nights
36 hours per week
Department: Inpatient Rehab
35-bed unit
Ratios: days 1:5, nights 1:6
Floating: MedSurg

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS
Driver’s license required at submittal
Must pass a Friday orientation exam during onboarding

Unit Details

Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with stroke, SCI, amputee, BI, critical illness, and neurological disease such as MS and Parkinsons
Charge nurse on each shift
Nurse aids/patient care techs available at a ratio of 1:10-15
Common titratable or set-rate drips include antibiotics, anticoagulation, and antiplatelets
No call or standby requirement

Schedule

Shifts: 0630-1900 and 1830-0700
Cyclic self-scheduling
Weekend requirement: at minimum every 3rd weekend
Holiday requirement: at minimum 2 holidays

Orientation

Classroom orientation plus 2 unit shifts

Additional Notes

Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
RTO must be submitted upfront; 7 or fewer days are allowed per 13-week contract, and additional RTO will not be approved
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity
Must be within 50 miles based on driver’s license address
