CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Atlantis, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Unit Details

• Unit: CT Tech
• Beds: 24
• Staff: 14 (radiologist, radiologist techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, CT techs)
• Day shift: Director, radiologist, 6-7 techs
• Night shift: Charge RN, on-call team, 3-4 techs (varies with volume)
• Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2, depending on patient stability
• Equipment: GE equipment, MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
• Facility: 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services. It is also a teaching facility.

Procedures

• CT scan, MRI, body scanner, x-rays
• Imaging of bones, organs, and tissues, combined into accurate assessments

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• CT Technologist with 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification
