Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts

Role Summary

• RN providing direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications

• RN license

Job Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop prioritized problem lists and coordinate desired outcomes with the patient and family.
• Implement patient care therapies and procedures within scope of practice.
• Explain procedures, treatments, and processes to patients and families.
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Conduct and document ongoing assessments and responses to care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members.
• Monitor the accuracy and completeness of delegated patient care.
• Identify and address patient educational needs.
• Facilitate discharge planning and teaching.
• Participate in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts.
