• Shift: Day, 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM)
• Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week

Preferred

• Pediatric experience
• COVID vaccination (preferred, not required)
• Two professional references, with charge RN or above preferred

Required Qualifications

• Pediatric Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Pediatric Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Surgical Technologist experience

Background and Health Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check, including sex offender search and education verification, completed within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks completed within 30 days of start
• Proof of Tdap vaccine, regardless of timeframe
• Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 30 days of start, or within 1 year of start with a second PPD given onsite; a history of positive TB requires documentation and a chest X-ray after the positive result
• Immunity documentation (titer or vaccine series) for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 6 months of start
• Fit test within 6 months of start using a 3M 1860 or Ameritech Progear mask, sized SM or REG; candidates with facial hair will be CAPR trained
• Flu vaccine or a medical/religious exemption form during flu season (October to April 1); declinations are not allowed
• Respirator clearance (RespSafety or facility form) within 1 year of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start (required for certain placement types only)

Onboarding

• Review and sign the orientation guide and complete the orientation guide post-test before start
• Review and sign the confidentiality agreement
• Complete the non-employee personal information sheet
