Assignment Details
- Unit: PCU/Stepdown
- Facility type: Short-term acute care hospital, Level II Trauma Center, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, teaching hospital
- Total staffed beds: 629
- Shift: Night, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 to 07:00), 36 hours per week
- Ratio: 1:4-5
- Weekends: Required every other weekend
- On-call: Not required
- Block schedules: Not required
- 48-hour weeks: Approved
- Holidays: Candidates may choose one holiday, either Thanksgiving or Christmas, but not both
- Float scope: If overstaffed, travelers are first to float to Telemetry or MS floors
- Scrub color: RN: any color
- Parking: No fee
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience of at least 1 year, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with cardiac patients
- Experience with cardiac drips, including titrating and managing drips
