Radiation Therapist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 14 weeks Schedule: Day shift, 5 x 8 hours, 7:30 to 16:00 (40 hours/week). 36-hour or 40-hour contracts are available. Call: 1 week of call out of every 8-10 weeks, depending on staffing needs. Restrictions: Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently treat patients according to the physician's prescription, including every aspect of correct patient treatment
Ensure the safety of everyone involved
Accurately and promptly record daily patient treatments
Perform daily QA and warm-up on the treatment machine

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Kentucky
Radiation Therapist (2 years of experience)
Radiation Therapist experience within the last year

Preferred

COVID-19 booster (preferred, not required)
