Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 48 hours per week (weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48)
Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Weekends: 36 hours; every other weekend required
On-Call: Not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) experience of 2 years
MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
ACLS certification
NIHSS certification

Unit Information

Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), 32 beds (20 medical, 12 neuro ICU)
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Patient Population: Tertiary care teaching institution; patients primarily have medical complications related to sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, and others

Float Scope

Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU, based on HCP experience
Any intermediate care unit (IMC) in the organization, with a 1:3 patient ratio in IMC
