Employment type: Travel/Contract Location: Fountain Valley, California Contract length: 13 weeks Start date: Not specified

Shift

Night, 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00 to 07:30
12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Weekends: every other weekend
On-call: Not required

Float Scope

May float to inpatient units: Med/Surg, Tele (Telemetry), Oncology, and ED

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience (2 years)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Notes

Two-stage pass/fail testing. Contracts can be cancelled if competency is not demonstrated.
Facility policy reviews and forms must be completed before start, including the drug-free policy, hand hygiene, dress and appearance, abuse reporting, safe patient handling, orientation quiz, and hazardous materials.
A performance evaluation is completed after start and is not needed for clearance.
