RN - Modified Care Unit

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin Employment Type: Clinical, Nursing, Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 3rd shift, 12-hour nights, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week, every other weekend, float as needed

Role Overview

• Inpatient registered nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients.
• Primarily adult patient population.
• Patient mix includes MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, stable arrhythmias, and other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring and assessment.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Cardiac Telemetry Care experience.
• Education: Associate's degree in nursing. Completion of a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for RN licensure.
• Licensure: Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License, or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), or an AHA-approved equivalent.
  • AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers, or an AHA-approved equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
