Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Somerville, Massachusetts Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 30 per week, rotating shifts Floating: Required Scrub Color: Any color

Schedule

• No weekends, on-call, or holidays
• Candidate must confirm agreement to the 30-hour schedule

Unit Details

• Unit: Endoscopy (no block scheduling)
• Setting: Outpatient endoscopy center focused on elective outpatient procedures
• Patients: Ages 18-95
• Common diagnoses: Colon cancer screenings, rectal bleed, and similar
• Rooms and bays: 4 procedure rooms, 5 pre-op bays, and 5 PACU bays

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
• Endoscopy experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

• Two recent manager or supervisor references in the matching specialty
• Skills checklist for the matching specialty
• Driver's license with an address that matches the candidate's demographics
• NURSYS Verification Report showing all licenses (past or present) pulled within the last 7 days
• Return-to-operation (RTO) must be included at submission; it is not guaranteed after confirmation
