Location: Louisville, Kentucky Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 8 weeks Hours per Week: 24 (guaranteed) Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Facility Overview
A 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness. Programs treat stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury, with customized, intensive rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in Kentucky
- At least 1 year of LPN / LVN experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- Associate's degree in nursing as a minimum
- Experience in a hospital setting
Unit Information
- Unit: 1 South or 2B
- Number of Beds: 14 or 12-bed unit
- Patient Ratios: 1:7 RN, 1:10 LPN, 1:12 tech (CNA)
- On-Site Equipment: EKG machine, bladder scanner
- Float Requirements: None listed
Patient Population
- Ages 18 and older
- Common diagnoses: amputee, stroke, hip and knee replacements
