Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology

Location: Hartsville, South Carolina Employment Type: Travel (extension of an existing assignment) Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Role Overview

The Echo/Vascular sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound and related testing on patients with suspected disorders of the cardiovascular system. Tests include, but are not limited to, echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex scanning, and noninvasive peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular studies.

Shifts: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch; Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• Vascular Sonographer experience
• Registered by ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association, attached to the candidate submission
