EP Technologist (Electrophysiology Lab)

Location: Sacramento, California Shift: Days Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• EP Tech experience: 2 years
• Active BLS
• Active ACLS
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
• Copy of government-issued ID at submittal to validate legal name. Name must match the government-issued ID, with no middle initial or middle name.
• 2 supervisor references at submittal: 1 within the past 12 months and 1 within the past 3 years worked. Charge-level references are accepted.

Other Certifications Listed

• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Primarily circulating and charting
• Stim experience

Job Duties

• Scrub in on cases and check monitors.
• Techs do not circulate or chart in the EP lab.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts, 0630–1900, Monday through Friday (3 shifts, 36 hours per week)
• Required call with a 30-minute response time
• Call start time: 1900 (to be discussed in the interview)
• Call end time: 2300
• Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Managers make the final scheduling decision. Holiday time off will be considered but is not guaranteed.
