Location: Cypress, Texas Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week

Unit Details

Floor/Building: 1st floor, Main Hospital
Beds: 19
Staffing: 26 FTEs hired in; core need is 33
Per shift: 1 Charge, 1 Triage, 4 Bedside RN, 1 HUC, 1 Tech (day and night)
Patient ratios: 4:1 or 5:1
Equipment: Philips

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department experience (1 year), obtained within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
NIHSS
PALS
TNCC

Typical Procedures

tPA
STEMI care
CPR
Laceration repair
Ortho care

Schedule

Rotating weekends
No on-call
