Location: Fort Worth, Texas Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse provides shift-based care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process, in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care in the Emergency Department. The nurse also maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and directs and supervises assigned personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• 1 year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience within the last year
• Experience in a hospital setting
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Float Scope

• Willing to float to Tele (Telemetry) and LTAC units depending on census
