Overview

• Per diem ICU RN role in Fountain Valley, California
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 7:00 to 19:30, 1x12 hours
• Orientation is not provided
• Scrubs: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a staff ICU RN or 2 years as a travel ICU RN
• Work settings: Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIH
• Active RN License
• Must be willing and comfortable to float to lower acuity based on facility need: MS, MS/Tele, Tele, ED Holding
• Epic experience
• 2 professional references, including at least 1 supervisor, within the last 12 months
• Active RN License verification
• NURSYS verification required for RN
• Medication Calculation Test required for all RNs
• Competency Exam required by profession/specialty
• Color Blind Testing Online required
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start
• TDAP vaccine within the last 10 years
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
• TB Questionnaire required for all candidates
• HepB Surface Antibody (HBSAB) titer required
• Varicella titer or 2 vaccines
• Rubeola/Measles positive titer or 2 vaccines
• Mumps positive titer or 2 vaccines
• Rubella positive titer or 2 vaccines
• Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccine required November 1 to April 30
• 2 professional references required
• Employment application required
• Unit specific skills checklist required
• Annual internal evaluation required if they have worked with Aya for a year or more

Preferred

• NIH Stroke Certification

Additional Notes

• Candidates with 2 or more attendance/performance issues or clinician pipeline cancellations may need additional references or a written statement before proceeding
• MemorialCare separation period: 18 months
• Previous staff/travel must be sent for facility approval
• Pre-start modules: 8 hours
• Clinician may be removed from the pool if they cancel 2 shifts within 24 hours of shift start time in a 30-day period
