RN Flex Pool Nights

Overview

Contract assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.
Flex RN floats between various medical and surgical units.
12-hour night shifts: 1845 to 0715.
Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation; no guarantee of hours.
Contract length: 15 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
BLS.
ACLS.
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
Med Surg experience.

Preferred Qualifications

PALS.
Procedural Sedation.
TNCC.
ENPC.

Floating / Unit Coverage

May float to Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and on rare occasions the Cardiovascular Unit.

Unit Details

Medical Unit: 77 beds; ratio 1:6 on days and eves, 1:8 on nights.
Laulima Unit (surgical Acute): 18 beds; ratio 1:6.
Cardiovascular Unit: 15 beds; ratio 1:4.

Additional Notes

Meditech EMR is used in the unit.
Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.
Orientation time is provided for each unit.
