Role Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in La Jolla, California
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 5:00–13:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Can be local
Required Qualifications
- Anesthesia Technician with 2 years of experience
- Anesthesia Technician experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Liver Transplant patients
- Experience working with Renal Transplant patients
- Experience with cell saver set up/operation
- Experience assisting with nerve block
- Experience with Epic
Schedule / Call
- Call required: 2 overnight weekday shifts and 4 weekend shifts in an 8-week period
Additional Notes
- Proof of W4 is required and must be kept on file
- Two satisfactory references are required
- Employment application is required
- Skills checklist is required
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test proof required within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccine required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 12 months of start
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity/vaccination documentation required
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination required
- Drug test required within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccination or flu declination required
- COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved medical/religious exemption on file
- Transcript/diploma required for Surgical Techs who are not certified
- OR scrubs are provided by the facility
