Overview

• Per diem NICU RN role in Los Angeles, California
• Night shift: 1x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Limited and sporadic shift availability
• 23-bed Level 3 NICU with 1:3 patient ratio
• In-house 24/7 Intensivist coverage and NP support

Required Qualifications

• California RN license
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
• Level 3 NICU experience required; Level 4 is preferred
• Current BLS
• NRP
• LA Fire Card
• EPIC experience
• Vents experience
• Experience with extreme neonates

Preferred Qualifications

• STABLE
• Level 4 NICU experience

Additional Requirements

• Two direct supervisor references from the NICU unit, updated within the last year and from work within the last 2 years
• Returning clinicians previously worked at PIH Health must provide a supervisor reference confirming rehire eligibility
• 1-year separation period required for former PIH staff employees
• Within 50 miles / 1 hour commute
• Covid vaccine declinations are accepted
• Floating as needed
• No formal orientation; unit tour and competency forms are completed during the first shift
• Royal Blue scrubs
• Parking is $15
