Electrophysiology Tech

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday (40 hours/week) Float: Float required as needed

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers welcome

Unit Details

• 9-room lab with 2 very active EP labs
• Work includes ablations, implants, and LAA procedures
• Multidisciplinary team focused on patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Electrophysiology Technician (2 years of experience)
• Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ARRT or RCIS
• RCES
• Driver's License
• Arrhythmia induction experience
• Cardioversion experience
• AICD insertion and programming experience
• Left atrial appendage experience
• Pacemaker insertion experience
• Tilt table study experience
• Experience with Epic

Health Requirements

• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start, with required panels listed on the report; a positive marijuana result results in immediate contract cancellation and a 6-month reapplication wait
• Negative TB test (QuantiFERON or TSPOT) within 6 months of start
• TB questionnaire completed before start and updated annually
• Tdap vaccine proof
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity (positive titer or 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart)
• Hepatitis B titer or declination
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption on file before clearance (declinations not accepted)
• Fit mask test completed within the current calendar year and updated annually
