Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Watsonville, California
- Night shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 5x8 schedule
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Role Details
- 1st time candidates are okay
- 1 year of experience required
- Performs diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations for Emergency Department, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical patients
- Responsibilities include portable radiography, operating room imaging support, fluoroscopy assistance as assigned, noncontrast and contrast-enhanced CT, CT angiography, trauma and stroke imaging, IV contrast administration, patient screening, venipuncture where qualified, image transfer, and documentation
- Night-shift technologist must be able to work independently, prioritize emergent examinations, and communicate critical workflow concerns appropriately

- ARRT CT
- ARRT R
- BLS
- CRT
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Radiation Safety
- Venipuncture

Additional Requirements
- RTO must be submitted up front
- Unexpired government-issued photo ID
- Background check within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required prior to facility start
- HHS/OIG required prior to facility start
- National certification verification prior to facility start and upon expiration, as applicable
- Competency exam, as applicable to profession/specialty
- Color blind exam within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Fit mask within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Tdap vaccine or agency declination form
- TB screening documentation required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation required
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccine or flu declination form during flu season
- 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
- Employment application must include 7 years of employment history and explanation of gaps greater than 30 days
