Registered Nurse - CCU/ICU

Location: Flemington, New Jersey

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Float Scope: Will be asked to float to the Med/Surg Tele (MST) unit as needed when census is down in the ICU.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent ICU/Critical Care experience
• Willingness to float to MST
• Active Compact or New Jersey RN license required at time of submission
• AHA BLS and ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• Ventilator management and basic arrhythmia interpretation required
• Flu immunization mandatory unless a valid medical exemption with supporting documentation is provided

Onboarding Requirements

• Background check, drug and medication screen, and physical exam
• Employment, educational, and license verification; I-9 attestation/E-Verify
• Driver's license, References, Resume
• Competency exam, skills checklist, and core mandatory annual training
• Color vision screening, fit mask test, and TB screening
• Immunizations and records: COVID-19 vaccine plus 1 booster, Hep B, MMR, TdaP, and varicella
• Sanction and exclusion checks (OIG, OFAC, SAM, NJ debarment, sex offender registries, NURSYS)
• Employee status form, pre-placement checklist, confirmation of assignment, and computer access policy agreement

Attire

• No specific scrub color required; attire must be clean and professional.
