Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Portage, Wisconsin Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 12/14 Unit: MSICU

Schedule and Hours

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (not applicable during orientation week)
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekends: every other weekend, plus holiday rotation
• No requirement for additional on-call or back-up. Additional shifts may be available to pick up for sick calls, etc.
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours. These hours count toward the contract's 36 nonbillable low census hours.
• Observed holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg experience

Float and Scope

• Must be willing to float to three other facilities in the system

Unit Information

• Case mix: medical and surgical patients, including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• 11 beds for COVID patients, located on one end of the unit; the remaining patients are in the other rooms

• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of RTO
• Scrub color: dark blue
