Schedule

Shift: Day, 5 x 9-hour shifts (7:00-16:00), variable Monday-Friday
Hours: 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week
On-call: Not required
Weekends: Not required
Block schedules: Not required
48-hour shifts: Not approved

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology experience of at least 1 year, including experience within the last year
ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card or ONS/ONCC certification

Required Documents and Health Requirements

Government-issued photo ID, Social Security card, and E-Verify (as applicable)
Background check within 90 days of start, covering the past 7 years, updated annually
Nursing education verification (third-party) and NURSYS verification for all RNs
Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by an MD, NP, PA, or DO
9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant results accepted)
TB test (IGRA/TSPOT, QuantiFERON, or 2 PPDs) within 12 months of start, updated annually
Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination acceptable)
MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), hepatitis B, and varicella: vaccine records or positive titer, with declination options
Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
Respirator fit test and annual respiratory safety clearance
Passport-style badge photo with a neutral background (Oregon placements)
Float policy acknowledgment
Annual regulatory training modules (about 3.5 hours), assigned through the learning management system

Experience and References

Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, in a comparable specialty/setting
Employment application covering at least the last 5 years

Float and Other Details

Travelers may be required to float to other units and facilities in the system to meet staffing needs, and it is common to float based on skill set.
If floating consecutive shifts, a hotel is offered (at additional cost).
Scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units. Scrub color for other units is any color.
