Role
- NICU RN travel contract in San Bernardino, California
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
Unit Details
- NICU Level III
- 20-bed unit
- Ratios: 1:1, 1:2
- Charge nurse does not typically take patients
- No nurse aides
- Tele/monitor tech
- No floating
- 3 shifts of orientation
Required Qualifications
- 2 full years of experience
- Level III or above NICU experience
- Active BLS
- NRP
- NIH
- California RN license
- Must be able to read and interpret strips
- Must be able to titrate drips
Preferred / Helpful Experience
- None stated
Clinical Setting
- Mostly congenital abnormalities, feeders/growers, vents
- No ECMO patients
Schedule / Expectations
- Work holidays in the permanent staff rotation
- Scrub color: Navy
- Neonatologist in house 24/7
- RT 24/7 on unit
- Pharmacy 24/7
