Registered Nurse - Progressive Care PCU Obs

Overview

• Specialty: PCU Obs
• Location: Fort Myers, Florida

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week

Unit Details

• Unit: GCMC PCU Observation Unit, 48 beds
• Ratios: 4 to 5 patients per nurse
• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing, with accreditation on profile
• 2+ years of PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience, with PCU experience within the last year
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Float Expectations

• Floating is required. Travelers are the first to float.
• May also float to other sister campuses.

Submission and Documentation

• Radius rule: must live within 50 miles of permanent address.
• All return-to-orientation (RTO) requirements must be on submission. The facility will not approve RTO after submission.
• Demographic information must be loaded at submission, including address, email, full date of birth, full Social Security number, and RN license number. Candidates cannot be confirmed without it.
• Hard document deadline is the Monday before start. No exceptions for pending documents.
• Clinical interview and offer are conducted by the staffing agency.
