Job Details

• Position: EP Tech
• Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Schedule: Self-scheduling with STEMI call approximately 10 to 12 days per month
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Patient Beds: 7 holding beds
• Floating Policy: Within EP and Stress Lab departments

Unit & Equipment

• Equipment Used: GE Innova, Impella
• Documentation Systems: MacLab, Meditech
• Procedures Performed:

  • TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
  • PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closure
  • Atherectomy
  • PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
  • Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
  • Impella and IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) support
  • Implants
  • DCCV (Direct Current Cardioversion)
  • TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)

Required Qualifications

• Electrophysiology Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures
• Proficiency with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) and Impella devices
• Knowledge and experience with IFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio) and FFR (Fractional Flow Reserve)
• Skilled in PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
• Experience with PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closure
• Familiarity with TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Experience performing Atherectomy
• Proficient in Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
