RN ICU – Critical Care

Overview

  • Travel RN role in Critical Care Step-Down.
  • Unit has 24 beds.
  • Patient ratio is 1:6.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
  • Shift: 6:45a–7:15p, 3x12 days.
  • Weekend and holiday requirement: every other weekend and holiday.
  • On-call: none.
  • Float requirements: none.
  • Patient population: all, mostly adults and teens.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year.
  • 2 years of CCU - Coronary Care experience.
  • Stepdown experience.
  • ACLS.
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association.
  • Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Critical Care / Step Down / Progressive skillset.

  • Scrub color: Navy Blue.
