RN Hospice

Location: Brunswick, Maine Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Schedule

• 4 shifts per week, Sunday through Wednesday, regular hours
• Week 1: Days, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, home visits
• Week 2: Nights, 4:30 PM to 8 AM, work from home (remote), making and taking calls
• Float requirements: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Hospice experience (2 years)
• Hospice experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Patient Population

• Adult med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, and GU patients
• No ventilators
• No invasive monitoring

Caseload and Productivity

• Case management of 14 to 18 patients, based on acuity
• Expectation of 5 to 6 visits per day (or 5 to 6 units per day)
• Minimum productivity of 25 units per week
• Unit values: SOC = 2 units, Recert = 1 unit, DC = 1 unit

Equipment Provided

• Agency laptop, iPhone with case and chargers, mouse, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, and agency bag
• All equipment must be returned upon departure

Personality Fit

• Collaborative, team approach, good communication, open to feedback to improve practice or workflow

Dress Code

• Business casual or scrubs (any color)
• Not allowed: jeans, open-toed shoes, or clothing with holes
