RN (Registered Nurse), North Tower 5, Nights

Location: Silverdale, Washington Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Nights, 7 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week, FTE based

Required Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Washington RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care

Unit Details

• Unit: North Tower 5, Med-Surg/Telemetry
• Beds: 18
• RN ratio: 1:4 to 1:5
• Nurse aide ratio: 1:9
• Charge: Charge RN
• Monitoring: Tele/monitor techs on unit; RNs read strips (pending approval of position)
• Patient types: Medical-surgical overflow, including CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life/palliative, awaiting placement, and post-op general surgery
• Drips: RNs titrate drips, limited to Heparin gtt and Cardizem gtt (up to 10 mg/hr)
• Respiratory equipment: CPAP and BiPAP; High Flow is not available

Schedule and Expectations

• Weekends: Required, based on unit needs and demands
• Holidays: Preferred; manager will discuss during phone interview
• Call/standby: Not required
• Floating: Float as needed
• Orientation: 2-shift orientation
• Scrubs: No specific color, per manager
• Start date: Requires manager approval
