Overview

• Interventional Radiology (IR) RN in Seattle, Washington
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Department: Interventional Radiology (IR) RN
• Unit setup: 3 IR Suites (Jones 5) and 2 IR Suites (Buck 5 - Biopsy - Rm & CT-Guided)
• Average cases per day: 10-15
• Supports 3 service lines: IR Body, Vascular, and Neuro Intervention

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• IR experience
• IR procedural experience, including moderate sedation
• 1 year of experience is acceptable
• Must be within a 30 minute response time

Preferred

• Travel experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Circulate IR cases and provide procedural sedation
• Scrub to circulate
• Perform pre/post admitting and recovery workflows for IR patients in the Buck 5 IR location
• Techs scrub each IR case; each case is staffed with 1 RN and 2 Techs

Schedule

• 4 10-hour shifts weekly plus call
• Regular shifts are 7:30a-6p Monday-Friday, with 1 RN assigned daily at 7a-5:30p
• 1 weeknight call about every 2 weeks
• 1 weekend call about every 6 weeks
• Holiday call is not assigned to this role

Floating

• May work in both Jones 5 IR suites and Buck 5 IR suites
• May also be pulled to Admit Recovery 702500 if needed

Additional Details

• On call overnights and weekends
• Stroke receiving center
• Epic used
• Hospital-provided periop/procedural scrubs are provided daily upon arrival
• Unit orientation is 1 week, including 3 days on-unit and weekend buddy call
• Parking is at the traveler’s expense; garage parking is available with daily and monthly options, or the Kings County Transit System may be used
