Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) - 12hr NOCS

Overview

• Employment type: Travel
• Location: Shawano, Wisconsin (primary)
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Float scope: May float to other facilities in the health system as needed

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour NOCs, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Missed shifts: Must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
• Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday rotation: Includes Thanksgiving (25th and 26th) and New Year's Eve
• On call / call back: None
• Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation
• Hours guarantee: Not guaranteed the week of orientation. Otherwise guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications and licenses: NBRC RRT, Wisconsin RT licensure, AHA BLS, NRP
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience
• Pediatric or neonatal experience: Required. At least a small to moderate amount of neonatal experience is needed, as the team is responsible for very sick newborns until the NICU squad arrives.
• Travel experience: At least one completed travel contract. New travelers are not accepted.
• Required skillset: Critical Care and Emergency; RT evaluate and treat; adult airway and ventilator management; basic pediatric airway and ventilation for the ED

Preferred Qualifications

• AHA PALS (strongly preferred)

• Travelers coming from a facility or home location within 50 miles of one of the system's campuses are not eligible.
