Facility and Unit

• 628-bed academic medical center with an advanced radiology and diagnostic imaging program (CT, low-dose CT, nuclear medicine, MRI, PET/CT, mammography, DEXA, ultrasound, X-ray)
• Approximately 250 scans per day
• Primarily adult patients; may work with pediatric patients
• Work settings: Adult acute care, adult outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU
• Scrubs: Black

Scheduling

• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Time-off and schedule requests: Priority goes to submissions that include a screenshot confirming the request. No requests are approved after offer.
• Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT)
• ARRT (R)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Trauma patients
• Experience working with Vascular patients
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
• Experience in a(n) Emergency Department setting
• Experience with cardiac-related radiology procedures

Health and Clearance Requirements

• TB screening: either a single TB blood test within 3 months of start, or a TB skin test (1st step within 12 months, 2nd step within 3 months)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start, stating the candidate is cleared for the essential functions of the job and is free of communicable disease
• Immunity documentation: rubeola (measles), mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
• Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) within the past 10 years; the childhood DTaP vaccine is not an acceptable substitute
• Influenza vaccine or medical/religious exemption for the 2026-27 season; declinations are not accepted. Pre-start deadline: 9/15/2026. Working candidate deadline: 12/4/2026.
• Respirator clearance (RespSafety) before start, with mandatory on-site fit testing on the first day
• Drug screen (10-panel urine) within 30 days of start
• Color vision test within 12 months, only if job tasks require color discrimination

Testing and Competencies

• Pharmacology exam required for all clinical staff, completed through the vendor platform
• Color vision results accepted at 80% or higher on the online platform; a physician exam is needed if failed

Background and Documentation

• Criminal background check within 30 days of start, including all aliases, county, state, federal, and nationwide searches; attestations are not accepted in place of a completed check
• Exclusion checks (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and New Jersey Department of Treasury Exclusions List), within 30 days of start
• E-Verify, required to clear
• Driver's license or state ID, provided within 48 hours of signing
• Work history verification: New Jersey requires 1 year of verified history before start, with gaps of 30 days or less
• Employment application or resume covering 7 years of work history
• 2 references from the last 2 years, at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor
• Floating policy form, completed for every new assignment
• Fit test questionnaire, required within 48 hours of confirmation
