Schedule

12-hour day/night rotating shifts
Every other weekend rotation
Holidays as needed
Limited day/night flip scheduling within a 6-week period, unless requested by the employee
36 hours off are scheduled between a night shift and a day shift when the day shift is for patient care, unless requested otherwise

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience starting intravenous (IV) lines
Experience with Epic

Patient Population / Unit Details

Adult med/surg patients under Family Medicine
Geriatric population
May care for Department of Corrections patients
Locked wing for Department of Corrections patients
Staff are accompanied by a DOC officer when assisting these patients
